David L. Rivers brings a wealth of experience in facility and ground maintenance, along with operations management, to his role as Senior Advisor of Team Clean, Inc. He is responsible for optimizing the company’s resources; defining project scopes and budgets; projections and cost control; as well as overall employee recruiting, training, motivation, and leadership.
Educational and morale-building programs for Team Clean, Inc.’s employees are of special concern to Rivers. He regularly organizes informational sessions to help the employees better understand the issues of the day, such as a recent gathering to discuss the impact of the recession and inflation on their finances. He manages safety training and meets regularly with Team Clean’s safety committees.
Rivers’ chemical industry work experience—DuPont, where he worked as a textile chemist; Hercules, where he worked in technical sales; and Air Products and Chemicals—has been integral to his ability to choose the proper cleaning supplies and Green cleaning products for Team Clean’s clients. These products minimize any harmful effects while allowing staff members to operate in a safe environment.
A Registered Building Services Manager, Rivers graduated from Cheyney University with a BA in Secondary Education and a minor in Chemistry; he also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
