An experienced veteran of over four decades in facilities management, Wayne Williams joined the Team Clean family in February 2016, and leads the company’s Smart Inspect Program, among other initiatives. He is currently Regional Operations Manager for Team Clean, overseeing multiple work sites, supervisors and numerous front-line employees, catering to the cleaning needs of a diversified clientele. Additionally, Wayne’s responsibilities include Quality Control initiatives, including the Team Clean Smart Inspect Program that provides benchmarks for future custodial initiatives.
Wayne got started in the industry while in his teens, thanks to his father, who saw how hard his son worked running three paper routes. His father took him to a construction site in Center City Philadelphia, where the two worked on post-construction clean-up for a major development on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Since 1973, Wayne has managed several custodial cleaning companies, has been an administrative manager for several facilities management firms, and has taught at Temple University in the hospitality/hotel management school.
